About Katie
Katie oversees the operations of Carson’s Business Development team. Prior to serving in her current role, Katie was the Associate Vice President, Business Development, and worked alongside financial advisors to help them look at the industry landscape and choose a partner who has their client’s best interest in mind. Katie likes to have a deep understanding of an advisor’s business and deliver value-added solutions that will truly transform how they do business and improve their client’s experience. Katie is changing the lives of advisors and the investors they serve.
Katie joined Carson in December 2013. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Communications and brings over a decade of sales and client retention/satisfaction experience to her current role. Before she started helping advisors pursue their goals, she was assisting small business owners by developing marketing solutions at one of the leading providers of data gathering in the country and was the Director of Member Services at one of the nation’s leading health and fitness clubs.
When she’s not at work, Katie likes to stay active and spend time in her kitchen with her husband, Dan, creating new recipes. She is lucky enough to have a huge family – three brothers, two sisters, ten nieces and nephews and two parents who have been happily married for 40 years – and they all get together every Sunday for family dinner. She also has the most adorable German shepherd named Bella. She has Katie’s heart and has a ton of energy so she takes up most of her free time.
